Astronomical tour – Stargazing
Experience a unique astronomical observation under one of the best skies in the world. Accompanied by professional Starlight-certified guides , you will explore the celestial vault to discover constellations, stars, and planets, using high-performance 10” Dobsonian telescopes .
Astronorte operates a private astronomical observatory located in Las Tricias (Garafía) , in the north of La Palma , a privileged location thanks to the quality and darkness of its skies. As a memento of the experience, a long-exposure night photograph is taken at the end of the activity and will be sent to you by email.
The activity takes place in small groups , ensuring a close and comfortable experience, with access to a projection room, restrooms, a terrace, and seating . An optional visit to the 3-meter astronomical dome is available .
What does the experience consist of?
- Introductory audiovisual presentation on the Universe and astronomy in La Palma.
- Guided live sky observation, with clear and educational explanations.
- Observation with 10” Dobson telescopes of the most visible objects of the night.
- Souvenir night photograph included.
Group activity, beginner level , suitable for all ages.

Important conditions
- Full or waxing moon: no observations are made, as the illumination of the sky prevents fully enjoying the activity.
- The activity is subject to weather conditions . In case of cancellation, a new date or a refund will be offered.
- The decision to cancel or postpone is made at the meeting point, always prioritizing safety and service quality .
- Once the activity has started, no refunds are allowed .
Recommendations and standards
- Please be punctual . The maximum grace period is 5 minutes.
- Transportation is not included.
- Eating and consuming alcoholic beverages are not permitted during the activity.
- Warm clothing and closed shoes are recommended , even in summer.
- Accident insurance included during the activity.

- The observations are made exclusively in Las Tricias , never in Roque de los Muchachos.
