Enjoy an exciting Astronomical Observation with tours of the celestial vault to learn about the main constellations, stars, planets,... with the help of certified Starlights guides supported by the use of telescopes.

The company counts with it's own private Astronomical Space in the north of the island, in Las Tricias, Garafía. (900 meters above sea level). Never on Roque Los Muchachos.

- Duration: 2,5 h

- Language: Spanish (and sometimes English)

- GROUP observation (Maximum 15 people), consisting of audiovisual projection about the Universe and the Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory, live observation of the sky explanations of stars, constellations... and telescope observation of the most visible objects in that night. At the end we will take a long exposure photograph that we will send you by email.

- A minimum of 6 peopleis required to carry out the Tour. If the minimum is reached on the scheduled date, a new date or refund of the amount paid will be proposed.

- Meeting Point: LasTricias Tourist Office (Garafía), at the agreed time, from there we will travel by car to the observation site (5').

- Observation Location:: Astronorte Astronomical Space. In the north of the island, in Las Tricias, Garafía. (900 meters above sea level).

- Activity subject to the weather conditions of the moment, and the place or day of the observation may be changed. In case of suspension, another alternative date is proposed or the amount paid is refunded. In the case of proposing another alternative location with better conditions, it would entail transportation by own vehicle to that place. In any case, it will be a decision that will be made by the company at the meeting point at the established time.

- In addition to adverse weather conditions, the activity may be canceled due to regulations or decrees issued by the competent authorities in matters of prevention and emergencies or also due to not reaching the minimum number of people at the closing of reservations.

- If once the activity has started, there is no right to refunds.

- The responsibility for cancellations lies with the main guide of the activity and the decision will be made to cancelalways ensuring the quality of the service and the safety of the users. The decision will be based on Aemet forecasts, webcams on the island and other weather forecasts. Like all weather forecasts, there can be errors and rapid changes in conditions that are not under our control.

- Punctuality is requested. Check the route to our observation site and travel time. The courtesy waiting time is 5 minutes..

• Accident insurance during the activity included.

Contact: On the same day of the activity, we will contact you via Whatsapp messaging or by phone, to confirm the activity and remind you of the coordinates of the observation location. It is important to have your telephone number operational in case we need to notify you of any eventuality.

• • The courtesy wait time is 5 minutes. Please allow 5 minutes for the car ride to the meeting point. After the courtesy time, we begin the activity.
  • The observations are made in our Astronomical Space in Las Tricias, and in no case are the observations made in Roque de Los Muchachos.
  • Please note: Bring warm clothing and closed shoes, even summer nights can be very cool.

  • By contracting the activity, the client accepts these conditions and those published on the website.
  • FULL MOON: Observations are not carried out on nights with a waxing or full moon, as the sky's illumination does not allow for the full enjoyment of the activity. Check the lunar calendar here.
