Bre\u00f1a Baja<\/strong><\/p>\n

With an area of 15 square kilometres and a population of around 4,000 inhabitants, Bre\u00f1a Baja is located on the eastern side of La Palma, very close to the Port of Santa Cruz de La Palma. The municipality was named Las Bre\u00f1as<\/em> by the early settlers due to the volcanic nature of the terrain and its abundant vegetation.<\/p>\n

Los Cancajos Beach is one of the island\u2019s most attractive and accessible beaches, featuring black-sand coves that are ideal for a refreshing swim in the Atlantic Ocean. This area is also home to much of the island\u2019s tourist activity, which continues to grow and expand.<\/p>\n

The best viewpoint in Bre\u00f1a Baja is undoubtedly Monta\u00f1a de la Bre\u00f1a, an ancient volcanic cone offering spectacular 360-degree views of the sea, with La Gomera and Tenerife visible on the horizon, as well as the island\u2019s mountainous summit. Nearby, at the foot of the viewpoint, there is a recreational area perfect for spending a day outdoors with family and friends.<\/p>\n

Monta\u00f1a de la Bre\u00f1a<\/strong><\/h3>\n

An ancient volcanic cone rising 565 metres above sea level on the eastern side of La Palma. It features picnic areas, barbecue facilities, and a recreational area where visitors can enjoy a meal surrounded by nature.<\/p>\n

Former Salt Pans of Los Cancajos<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Built in the 18th century, these are the island\u2019s only saltworks inspired by Greco-Roman engineering and design.<\/p>\n
